Opening of the summer season on 1 May

In May, the botanic garden is already in the mood for summer: the sun is getting warmer, and first spring flowers are in bloom on the premises. So, we would like to welcome everyone to a lecture on gardening therapy at 12:00 on 1 May to learn how growing edible plants can improve your mood and help you cope with anxiety. We will provide advice on how to start this hobby, which plants to grow and which methods to use for designing a vegetable garden. Tiina Marjapuu, a gardener in Tallinn Botanic Garden, will be talking about the properties of useful plants, their influence on people’s health and growing them in the context of urban environment.
