Tallinn Botanic Garden welcomes you to its legendary Rose Days event.
This year Tallinn Botanic Garden holds its Rose Days on 14 and 15 July, and they are bound to attract numerous admirers of these gorgeous plants.
The rose garden, which remains in bloom from Midsummer to the first cold days of autumn, comprises 631 varieties of roses from 31 groups. During the Rose Days, we worship the colors of the queen of flowers and enjoy the scent; study and admire the multitude of shapes and structures of red, pink and yellow blossoms. Historically, the red of rose petals used to signify the five wounds on the body of Christ in the Middle Ages. Nowadays, roses stand for luxury and grandeur. Let’s give them proper recognition.
