Tallinn Botanic Garden invites visitors to its legendary Rose Days event
Rose Days will be held in Tallinn Botanic Garden on 13 and 14 July. Regarded as royalty among flowers, roses with their mesmerising scent have enchanted people for thousands of years. This time during the Rose Days, we would like to draw your attention to the rose varieties with powerful fragrance, which are marked with special labels. The rose garden, which remains flamboyantly in bloom from Midsummer to the first cold days of autumn, comprises 680 varieties of roses from 31 groups. Apart from aesthetic pleasure roses provide, they are considered valuable for other purposes; for example, rose petals are used for making oil with healing properties.
