18–20 August. Thematic Days “From Perennials to Clematis vines”

By August, the beds of our perennial plants are a sea of flowers — the vast collections of phloxes, astilbes, and day lilies of the botanic garden are a feast for the eyes during this month. Furthermore, tall hemp agrimonies with amaranthine blossoms as well as Siberian Ligularia coloured in different shades of yellow are a sight to see. Coneflowers, bugbanes, sneezeweeds, amethyst sea hollies, globe thistles, black-eyed-Susans, hostas, and coral bells also bloom beautifully in August. The expositions of the perennials can be explored independently or in the company of an expert. Nõrga and Roogoja Farm exhibit and sell perennials, clematis and grape vines.
