Apple Party 2024

Avaldatud: 14.10.24

From October 19 to 27, the Apple Party will take place at the Tallinn Botanic Garden.

The Apple Party is a colorful and exciting exhibition where you can explore different varieties of apples. In addition to apples, we will also showcase other apple fruits, including pears and rowans.

The apple is one of the most important and well-known fruits. Apple trees and apples have been depicted throughout history in many legends and folklore as symbols of knowledge, beauty, sin, redemption, love, youth, and good health. The apple tree family consists of 39 species of deciduous trees and shrubs, with representatives naturally spread across the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. More than 7,000 apple varieties have been bred worldwide. The exhibition also features apple varieties developed in Estonia. The Apple Party exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Polli Horticultural Research Center of the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
