Audio guide at Tallinn Botanic Garden

Avaldatud: 28.11.24

The audio guide at Tallinn Botanic Garden allows visitors to explore the most fascinating plants, plant groups, and natural or semi-natural communities within the Pirita River Valley Landscape Protection Area in greater detail. The guide is available in Estonian, Russian, English, and Finnish.

Plants or plant groups featured in the audio guide are marked with red signs in both the greenhouses and the outdoor areas. The texts for the guide were written and narrated in Estonian by Urmas Laansoo. In other languages, the texts were recorded by native speakers of those languages.

The audio guide can be used by up to 50 visitors at a time.

The guide, along with route maps, is available for free rental at the Visitor Center. The device is user-friendly and suitable for individuals with visual or hearing impairments (visitors should bring their own headphones to connect to the device). The cashier inputs a three-digit code into the audio guide according to the selected language.

The creation of the audio guide was financially supported by the Environmental Investment Center (SA Keskkonnainvesteeringute Keskus).
