Peonies 2024
From Friday to Sunday, June 28-30, the Tallinn Botanic Garden will be celebrating the beloved mid-summer beauty, the peony.
Unfortunately, due to a heavy hail storm and an exceptionally hot May, the peonies have already bloomed.
In the Friday evening workshop on June 28, Singapore designer and scientist Ming Jia Liew will introduce the rich history of peonies and conduct a practical training session. Over the weekend, you can participate in guided tours and workshops, seek peony advice from specialists, or stroll independently among the fragrant beds. On Saturday and Sunday, peony seedlings will be sold by the flower garden of Mädapea Manor, and natural cosmetics by Ingli Pai.
It’s worth coming to admire the peonies even before Midsummer, as the first blooms of the early varieties start to open.
In the dream book crafting workshop, you can create your own dream book. Whether you want to collect thoughts, dreams, goals, or use it for sketching, it’s up to you. The crafting suits both adults and children who love personalized items. In the workshop, we use various natural materials (fabrics dyed with plants, papers, yarns, tree branches, etc.).
